Zoila Rey, LMHC
Life can change in an instant. You don't have to navigate what comes next alone.
I provide compassionate counseling for adults navigating major life transitions—including cancer and serious illness, grief and loss, anxiety during times of change, and the challenges of rebuilding life after incarceration.
About Zoila
You deserve a space that feels safe.
I'm Zoila Rey, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults facing some of life's most difficult transitions. I believe therapy should be a place where you can speak honestly about what you're going through without fear of judgment.
Sometimes change is expected. Other times, life changes in an instant—a cancer diagnosis, the loss of someone you love, the end of a relationship, or returning home after incarceration. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.
My approach is compassionate, straightforward, and practical. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, identify what you need right now, and help you begin moving forward—one step at a time.
How I Can Help
Areas of Focus
Cancer & Serious Illness
A serious diagnosis can change everything—your routines, relationships, sense of security, and plans for the future. Therapy provides a place to process the fear and uncertainty while finding ways to cope with what you're facing.
Grief & Loss
Grief doesn't follow a schedule or a predictable path. Whether you're coping with the death of someone you love, anticipatory grief, or another significant loss, you don't have to carry it alone.
Life Transitions
Even expected changes can leave you feeling unsettled or unsure of what comes next. Therapy can help you work through anxiety, loss of direction, relationship changes, and other major adjustments while finding your footing again.
Reentry & Starting Over
Returning to the community after incarceration brings challenges that others may not fully understand. Therapy can provide a nonjudgmental place to work through adjustment, relationships, anxiety, rebuilding trust, and creating a meaningful life moving forward.
My Approach
“My approach is rooted in warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your unique story.”
My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to you. Together, we'll explore what you're experiencing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop tools that can help you cope, adjust, and move forward.
